A well deserved rest. This oil painting was made during a very crazy time, when all I could dream about was to withdraw from the chaos, rest and recharge. I can still feel the warmth of the sun on his face, the hammock that craddles him and his feet cool and free. It was made with a palette knife and has lots of texture.

This painting is one of my early works on canvas with a simple wood structure frame.
