Lockdown in Italy was a whole different ball game! One of the few things that kept me sane was creating art.

I started riping paper from old fashion magazines, old books, used tickets and such. And began my simple story telling.

They were individual pieces which began to reflect my joy and sometimes fear in those crazy times. I filled many sketch books with collages, incorporated drawings and added beads or hand stiching.

I still use this method before working in the studio - when I feel stuck, or want to work through color theory.
