Blog Post 2 “Girl Power”

HALEY, a polite little cherub that takes no SH*T!

So, YOU don't believe that baby sisters can out wrestler their older torcherous brothers? Granted, little "HALEY-RAE" at first glance seemed a quiet, petite, green eyed, golden-curled little cherub. She certainly had zest behind that smile- and when she had enough-she was no force to be messed with!

One day while visiting her grandmother, she couldn't take the teasing and nuggies any longer! She swiftly wrestled her elder brother down to the floor using the Manacchi scissor crunch, until he was almost in tears! Her brother was 6 years older and atleast a head taller with broad shoulders and a surfer’s frame. That look on her face, filled with such pride and determination was priceless! We are ALL so much stronger than we think!

Haley at 9 years old, joyfully reminds us of our unlimited reserve of "girl power"! If you relate to this playful oil painting of Haley's proud smirk, and want to be reminded that there are "no limits to a girl's power and determination", go to SHOP to purchase. It would make a perfect gift of inspiration in a daughter's room, your studio or work space. “Girl Power” 60x60cm Oil on Canvas
